Must take below precautions while using mobile phone

Specific Absorption Rates (SAR) for mobile phones: Specific absorption rate (SAR) is a measure for the energy absorbed by the body. Its measure is Watt per kilogram (W/kg). Mobile communication uses high frequency electromagnetic fields during information transmission. When talking to someone on a mobile phone, the energy of these fields is partly absorbed in the head. If a headset is used and the mobile phone is, for example, put in one’s pocket, the energy is absorbed by the body part close to the mobile phone. SAR must not exceed 2 Watts per kilogram: In order to avoid adverse health effects, the specific absorption rate of a mobile phone must not exceed 2 Watts per kilogram. Since 1998 this value is recommended as a limit by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). The German Commission on Radiological Protection (SSK) and the European Commission agreed in 1998 and 1999. European standardisation bodies developed standards to control compl

In one day, it provides more energy than our current population would consume in 27 years. In fact, "The amount of solar radiation striking the earth over a three-day period is equivalent to the energy stored in all fossil energy sources." In 1839 a French physicist named Edmund Becquerel realized that the sun's energy could produce a "photovoltaic effect" (photo = light, voltaic = electrical potential). In the 1880s, selenium photovoltaic (PV) cells were developed that could convert light into electricity with 1-2% efficiency. When sunlight strike the solar cell, the electrons their atoms, allowing the electrons to flow thro

TRAI's New Regulation for the Television and Broadcasting

With TRAI's New Regulation for the Television and Broadcasting Sector, Consumers have the freedom to select Television (TV) Channels of their choice. The new tariff order by TRAI, in most likelihood, will reduce the price you pay for watching television if you make an economic choice of channels. Your payment to the Service Provider has two components. The first one is called the Network Capacity Fee (NCF). It is like a rental charge of the TV connection to your home. The other is the price of any pay channels that you select. The new framework mandates all operators, including DTH, cable service provider or multi-system operator, to have a base package of 100 channels. Out of the list of 100 TV channels in the base package, you will have to deselect any number of FTA/ Free channels of your choice and add pay channels of equal number. The overall limit cannot cross 100. The MRP of NCF is maximum Rs. 130 per month for 100 TV channels. You can select any FTA/Free channel, pa

T-HR3 Robot

It’s 1.5-meter tall, weighs 75 kilograms, and has 32 degrees of torque-controlled freedom plus a pair of 10 fingered hands. The operator can control the robot’s entire body using the Master Maneuvering System (MMS) — 16 torque servo modules in the chair, motion and force sensors at the feet, and other 29 torque servo modules located in the robot’s joints. It has excellent balance and coordination with operator. Toyota has developed humanoid to explore the possibility of assisting humans in the home, medical facilities, construction sites, disaster areas, and even in space. Long term, a system like this probably isn’t a sustainable way to manage humanoid robots. May Toyota is hoping to use the MMS as a reliable learning tool to demonstrate, where the robot gains experience to perform like as human is doing a variety of tasks through it, and eventually is able
